Day 3

E and N at a Thai restaurant

N is E’s wife.  They have been married for 3 years and hope to have a child next year sometime.  N works in the sales office for a luxury apartment company.  The office is located next door to our workout facility.  She is very shy however. About three months after we met E, N agreed to have dinner with us.  She was very concerned that we couldn’t speak Thai and she can’t speak English, so she didn’t know how we would communicate.  We think, much to her surprise, we spoke enough Thai to have an enjoyable evening together.  Due to her shyness and busy schedule, we have not seen her since.

Through J’s conversations with E, we know that N is a very strict Buddhist and is hesitant to be open to anything at this time.  Her family regularly goes to the temple to make merit for their sins.  They also celebrate some of the Chinese religious holidays because N’s parents are part Chinese.  N is very devout with her faith and strives to follow all the rules of Buddhism.  However, N is also very supportive of E and his opinions and thoughts.  If E decides to make a decision, we are confident it would create an open door to share with N. 

Ask that the Father would release her of her anxieties to meet with us. Pray that she will be open to spend time with us. Ask that the Father begin to prepare her heart now so when we do meet together she will be open.
