Day 16

N is our host for our village group in Baan Thaa Village.  The first day we walked into this village, we met N and his wife.  They quickly agreed to allow us to hold a Study in their home as long as we agreed to teach some English as well.  We have known N for almost two years now.  N is a very unique man.  He goes against all the cultural norms that we learned about Thai husbands.  N shows affection towards his family and will mingle with other adults as well as children.  Most men spend time with other men and that is all.  N participates in the studies and enjoys the singing the most.  N has heard the Truth for over a year now.  He is interested in learning more, but admits he is struggling with wanting to accept this new Truth because he wants it to be a family decision.  He is waiting for his wife agree to choosing a new lifestyle.  He won’t make this decision unless she stands with him.  However, he has already spoken to his two grown boys about his desire to change, and they are all for it!

Ask that N would let go of the final strongholds and run to the cross.  Also, ask that he would begin to have opportunities to share the stories we teach him each week with his sons and other village members.
