Attending scrapbooking
J is a college student at one of the local universities majoring in Business with a minor in English. L met J about a year ago at her first scrapbooking class she held. Since that class, L and J have become pretty close friends. J enjoys spending time with L scrapbooking, shopping, baking, and touring the city.
J is very busy with her studies and working. She also helps babysit and care for her niece while her sister is working. Therefore at times even if J would like to spend time with L, it is difficult for her to have the time.
L has shared with J many times. J and her family are not strict Buddhists. Instead of going to the temples to make merit for their sin, they give to the poor mountain people and believe that will earn them merit. They believe that the temples and monks are already wealthy and don’t use the money given to them to help the poor, but instead to keep for themselves. J has not shown much interest in the stories that L has shared, but is always willing to listen at any moment. She believes she is too young to start thinking about life about death.
Ask that the Father would stir in J’s heart; that she would begin to have an interest in learning more about who He is, and begin to realize He wants to have a real relationship with her.
J brought her sister to one of the scrapbooking classes.
