Our Christmas Gifts
Two weeks ago we were welcomed by a familiar face from home. A friend of J’s decided to come for a three week visit over the Thanksgiving holiday. He is our first visitor from the States. We were so ready for a friendly face to talk to and to guide around our new home.
Our friend brought two full suitcases from home for us. We felt so blessed just to have him visit, but then when he showed up with two full suitcases of gifts and some of our personal stuff from home we were in complete awe.
Our friend arrived at midnight, but we stayed up until 2am just to visit and open our suitcases. It was a fun early Christmas present. We could quickly see the love and time that went into all the planning and organizing to get everything to us. We just want to say how incredibly thankful we are to each person who gave and contributed to the gifts. We know several groups of people sent in things for us. THANK YOU SO MUCH! WE DEFINITELY FEEL SPECIAL AND REMEMBERED!

A HUGE thank you to Southern Hills for providing us with the suitcases full of all kinds of things: Hamburger Helper, Gatorade, gifts for the village students, salad dressing, frito cheese dips, macaroni and cheese, scrapbooking supplies, Bath and Body Works soaps, vitamins, Simple Green, and so much more! Thank you for giving and giving sacrificially! We feel so loved and uplifted through each of these gifts.
We are honored to be your hands and feet in this part of the world. Thank you for partnering with us and supporting us through so many avenues!
