Yesterday was a special day for all the kids at Sirraphi school. A group from our company came out to the school and presented each of the kids and teachers with a blanket in preparation for the cool season. We will be moving into what they call cold season in another two months. The lows will be in the 60’s! Not what we necessarily consider cold, but it is definitely winter to them.
Our school kids are extremely poor, so they were very grateful for the gift. A short presentation was made before handing out the blankets explaining who we are and why we were here giving out the blankets. Once the blankets were passed out, L shared a story with the kids and tied it to the blankets so hopefully each time they use the blankets they will think of the Father. We know each of these families represented at the school were touched today and saw a glimpse of the Father’s love for His children.

Two weeks ago we also presented the school with a fax machine. J is standing next to the principal and some of the Kindergarten students. We need the fax machine to be able to communicate with them without having to drive an hour to get to the school.
