Happy 5th Anniversary!

July 9th, five years ago we were just beginning!  It is so crazy to believe it has been five years already.  Marriage has been an amazing journey.  We have experienced so much life together and been privileged to visit so many countries around the world.  (20+ countries in 5 years, not too bad.)
Throughout our marriage, we have seen the Father do so many amazing things.  He has taught us what true love really is, how to love unconditionally, the importance of supporting each other through thick and thin, and why each day we need to remember how blessed we are to have each other. 
When we think back on these 5 years, we both agree the Father has had a hand in each stage of our life.  He has clearly guided each of our days together.  We both feel so blessed to have met each other. 
As we continue our latest journey, we are reminded of the commitment we made to each other 5 years ago and to the Father.  We ask daily for strength, endurance, and unending love for each other and the people around us.

J surprised me with flowers at the hotel. (We had a week long meeting during our anniversary at a hotel in our city.)

After all the food arrived, the boat left the dock and sailed down the Ping River in our city.  We enjoyed a nice hour long boat ride through the city.  It was so peaceful and quiet as well as beautiful at night with all the lights.

We finished the evening with ice cream from Swensen’s.  It was a perfect night.  J did a great job planning a special night for us here despite our meeting.  What a great husband!
