A recently graduated with a Master’s Degree in Economics.  She works at a local university as well as teaches ballet.  A grew up in a believing family.  However, her parents are very strict and go beyond necessary restrictions to keep her overly shielded from this evil world.  A began believing as a teenager, but had very little follow-up and growth.  L began studying with A on a weekly basis, and her passion began to grow.  She is very wise in her understanding of the Word and Truth.  She has a very shy spirit, so it takes great courage for her to be in public and share her beliefs with others. 

A is in the middle

About 5 months ago, A’s parents confronted her about spending time with L and not being at home as much.  A is 26 years old, but her parents treat her as if she is 18 or younger.  They have given her curfews and many restrictions that most would find crazy at her age.  However in this culture, it is expected that children of all ages live at home and respect their parent’s rules.  A is very down and depressed and doesn’t know how to handle her parent’s rules in a biblical manner.  L has not seen A in 5 months and has very little communication since that time.

Ask that the Father would give A strength and perseverance as she struggles to be an individual.  Ask that the Father would grant her freedom from her parents and their ways.  Ask that the Father would open her parent’s eyes and understand on how to raise their daughter in a way that is pleasing to Him.
