Day 24

Playing the guitar

G is a high school student who lives in Baan Thaa Village. He has been coming off and on since we started the group two years ago.  Within the last 3-4 months he has been coming more regularly.  He has shown some interest in the stories we are teaching, but his main interest is the music.  G is a part of a band where he plays the guitar.  He is very gifted and enjoys playing for us when he comes.  He would love to lead our singing each week.  We are doing our best to teach him the music and songs, but it is difficult as it in all in another language.  Singing in another language is a lot different than speaking!!

Playing the Wii

G is from a Budd. family.  They are very active in the activities at the village temple.  Life for all the villagers is centered around what is happening there because most things in the village are funded through the money that comes from there.  However about a month ago, G told us that he is beginning to open his heart to other ideas.  This is a major step for him and his understanding of the Truth.

Ask the Father to bring conviction for him to understand the real Truth in his life.  Ask that the Father would continue to use his talents and gifts to bring him closer to Him through music.
