A Special Day

Two weeks ago we were privileged to share a special day with Ging, L’s language partner at a nearby waterfall.  Several months ago Ging made the most important decision of her life.  Then, after studying with L and hearing more about her new life, she knew it was time to follow that decision with a dunking.

Several of our friends gathered together to celebrate and witness the event.  Our national partners lead the entire celebration.  We sang some songs, shared some “life” stories and explanations of what we were doing, and then Ging was dunked.  It was a neat time of celebration for each of us.
