The water was up to the sidewalk.
While this is a popular children’s song that we all used to sing, we are actually singing, “Rain, Rain Stay!” Two weeks ago, the temperature shifted into our country’s rainy season. We are so thankful. The daily temperature has dropped 5-10 degrees, and we get a daily rain shower. It is 95 degrees with lots of humidity. Believe it or not, we are grateful.
Some of the rain storms are quick, but very hard. While others are just sprinkles off and on throughout the day. A few weeks ago we had a downpour. Thankfully, we were driving and not walking or we would have been soaked.
